Children's Ministries
Nursery Care
The newly renovated nursery is available for children ages 3 and under from 9:30am until 12 noon. Our nursery attendants Rennett Appel and Serra Wobbema provide a fun and safe environment for your children to enjoy their time at church and allow you to enjoy yours!
Children's Chapel
Our Children's Chapel offers ages 3 - 12 an opportunity to hear and study the Gospel reading for the day. With lively group discussions, art and activities to reinforce the Gospel children will be invited to encounter God in themselves and in each other. We encourage our children to take an active part in their Chapel time by reading the Gospel, learning appropriate responses, and taking up the offering. It is our goal that as these children age and begin to participate in the regular church service that they will arrive with a better understanding of our customs, our responses, and our liturgy.
Teens Ministry
We are just getting our teen ministry started back up since Hurricane Katrina. In the fall we will have a space provided for our teens to hangout in the safe environment of the church grounds where they can study the teachings of the scriptures and relate them to current life experiences.
